Pro rated vacation tokes. Oh yes! We know management will be happy
to tell us we voted for this! Well, did we have a choice?? We were
told that it would cost x??? amount of dollars to keep a full
time payroll person to handle the dealer vacation tokes. Utterly
ridiculous considering I just got my vacation tokes for last week.
So YES… some one is already handling Dealer’s tokes. They just
cannot handle it if I get fired or quit or transfer to another
property.
I have worked for this company for more then twenty years and if I
get fired I get nothing for my 4 weeks vacation except my $6.33 per
hour. This is something that can be bargained back into a contract
with out the Jury Duty toke issue attached. The fact that management
tied these two votes together should show everyone we do NOT have
complete control of our money. These were separate issues and to get
one we were forced to vote away the other.
